This dramatic living room was a challenge (even for me) the problem is the scale of things you can use. What looks big in most homes will look tiny here. And using multiple items can make it appear cluttered. So less is best! Use larger pieces that make a statement. I had tow iron arbors (like the ones outside) built into the recessed areas above the bookcases. Put a brick wallpaper as a backdrop and had flowers and ivy hang from the top of the arbors (this brings it alive) hanging the clock in the middle finished the romantic feel of this room.
